1 DAY HIKE ESSENTIALS🎒🌿
¿How's everybody doing?
Today we want to show you our small checklist of what to bring with you in your backpack if you are going for a 1 day hike or just a small one.
First Aid Kit:
Maybe it's s not the first think that comes to your mind when going for a small hike, but should be your #1 priority on the list. This will be a small first aid kit and easy to carry!
We are not saying that you should expect a bad injury, but it is always good having After-Bite, Benadryl, adhesive bandages and some Ibuprofen. And now that summer is coming, don't forget the sunscreen and sunglasses.
Base Layer:
Summer days are usually hot but after a beautiful sunset here in Vancouver you never know! having a base layer just in case is always a good idea. And we got you covered with that ;) Moose Voyage Base Layers are formed from high-quality fabric with innovative knitting technology. As a “second skin”, the fabric’s delicate, silky touch will make you feel cozy. Check out Moose Voyage webpage for more!
Food and Water:
Also a must on this checklist! You don't need a stake or a pizza while hiking, but some protein bars, fruits and a bottle of water will give you energy and keep you hydrated. Also a small knife could be useful.
Cellphone and Power Bank:
Whether you want to take amazing pictures during your hike or if you get lost, we encourage you to take a cellphone and a small power bank to make sure your phone doesn't die when you need it!
Small trash bag:
Even if you are going for a small hike you could need to dispose some garbage form your snacks of from your first aid kit, so make sure to bring a small bag with you to keep the environment clean and the wildlife away!
